I am not known for being a “gadget” person. But last month my trusty Handspring PDA finally died (it is almost five years old) and I started thinking – why should I carry a PDA and a phone. It was time to consolidate.
A sale flier from the Sprint store here in town sealed the deal, if you buy this weekend you can save an extra $100. So, I got the Palm Treo 700wx (windows version). If I hate the platform, I have 30 days to switch to the more familiar Palm platform.
So, that was my contribution to black Friday, which by early accounts seems to be a success. What did you pick up this Black Friday, or, like my husband, does all the consumerism make you a little queasy?
