Crisis Management: “Don’t Let the Bedbugs Bite”

Were you feeling a little itchy this morning?

It seems that bedbugs, those bugs of nursery rhyme lore, have made a comeback in the United States, and hotels have a growing problem as they struggle to fight off these critters.

One hotel already faces a big problem.

Sarah, a PR student at Auburn University, dissects the PR problem and the $27 million lawsuit faced by the Nevele Hotel, which is located in upstate New York

The hotel doesn’t have a very good customer rating at Trip Advisor, so its no surprise that they ugly bugs left their mark on Leslie Fox, the plaintiff (see photo).
