Okay, so some more viral video from YouTube and Gizmodo in the same genre of the Comcast guy sleeping on the job. But this time, it is a venerable AT&T; employee stealing oranges, in an official truck, with an official logo.
I think it is time for service companies, telcomm and others that perform service in homes, to add these two videos to their training programs. Our local AT&T; blogger and beat reporter Sanford Nowlin also got an official comment from AT&T; about the video:
An AT&T; spokesman said the company is investigating the video and will take “quick and appropriate action” after understanding the circumstances.
“The trust of our customers is of the utmost importance,” spokesman Walt Sharp said. “We expect all employees to adhere to a very strict code of conduct.”
