The NewComm Forum 2008 kicked off yesterday in Santa Rosa, Calif., and Geoff Livingston from The Buzz Bin and I gave a three-hour workshop on Integrating Social Media into your public relations and marketing plan.

Today we will do a second and shorter seminar on Building Brands with Social Media.  We have put both presentation up on Slideshare (see above link for yesterday), but I am putting today's session here for you to look at.

For a long time I advocated a three-part process to engage in social media: Listen, Participate, Contribute and now I am adding a fourth, which is Evaluate.  This is covered in the presentation above and in more detail in the longer Integration presentation.
