Shel Holtz is coming to San Antonio to give a half-day seminar about Social Media tomorrow. We would have loved to have Neville Hobson come along too, but our travel budget wasn't quite up to the challenge.
The local PRSA and IABC chapter, along with Frost Bank, sponsored him to come for the day. (Disclosure: I am on the PRSA San Antonio Board of Directors).
We have nearly 70 people registered to attend, which is a healthy number for a half-day professional development seminar in San Antonio.
I will pick Shel up from the airport tonight, and I hope to have some stuff up tomorrow about the seminar. I can’t live blog since there is no Wi-fi connection on the seminar site (just a hardwired one for the speaker), but there is one at happy hour spot we have chosen, which is the V-Bar at the Hotel Valencia – the hotel where the American Idol judges stayed when they came here last week to find talent for the show.
From American Idol to Shel Holtz in one week. Tomorrow should be a fun day.
