Either it was an oversight, or we yelled loudly enough, because today the ranking metric has reappeared in Technorati searches. I, for one, am relieved about it, as they are benchmarks for many programs.
It is amazing how quickly Technorati has grown, there was a time when I would post and Dave Sifry himself would come by, or someone representing the company, would come by and comment.
I realize that this kind of interaction no longer can scale with their employee base of 45, but I am glad they were responsive and added back this feature.
