Cool Tools: Staying Connected With Your Social Network

August 21, 2007 by Kami Huyse

What better way than sending free social media cards that can be embedded in your web page and also sent as a text message? I made this card for Shel Israel, a dear friend of mine that today is one year OLDer. His exact age is a state secret. I have also been waiting for an opportunity to share this new tool with all of my readers and I am sure Shel will forgive me for crossing my purposes.   Create Your Own GushyGram Visit read more...

Confessions of a Reluctant Moblogger

August 18, 2007 by Kami Huyse

Part of the fun of my maternity leave has been that I have finally had time (between naps) to really explore some of the social networks, like Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter, to determine how I can leverage them for clients.I have about three or four posts rattling around in my head from this exploration, but it will be a few days before I can get to them. I had been looking for an opportunity to play around with it, and couldn't think of a better reason than the arrival of my second child earlier this week. It also explains why blogging has been a little light this week and probably next. I am sure you will understand. And, here is the Mom with read more...

Birthday Cake and Flag Day

June 14, 2007 by Kami Huyse

Today is my birthday, so it might not surprise you that I have always been a proponent of making Flag Day, a US observance in honor of the American Flag, into a full-blown holiday.  Currently it is just a a designation or an observance. Imagine my disappointment when I read this article, Flag Day's faded glory: Some Calendars don't even mark the day... I suppose this is a PR battle I will never win. Oh well, at least I get read more...
