Social Media and Fundraising: A Giving Experiment On Deadline

Beth Kanter, author of Beth's Blog: How Nonprofits Can Use Social Media, has been running a campaign for the past few weeks to raise money that will be used to help Cambodian children get an education. It is called Route Out of Poverty for Cambodian Children, and among other things, it gives them in an education in how to use a computer.  It is part of Parade Magazine's Giving Challenge and the cause with the most donors (notice not the most money) will win.  read more...
