Cool Tools: Newshound Helps to Sniff Out News in Facebook

MyDeathSpace: Voyeurism Meets Social Media

  People are using social networking sites to connect with others in a number of ways, but I thought this was WAY over the top. MyDeathSpace.com is an archival site, containing news articles, online obituaries, and other publicly available information. MyDeathSpace.com is a map-based site that connects you to the MySpace profiles of the deceased.  It includes the story about each person and the circumstances of their death. Cool Tools: SezWho Allows Comment Ratings. Say What?

  Read/WriteWeb has installed a new comment rating service called SezWho. The gist of the service is that the reading community can rate the comments of other readers and that these ratings are portable and help to build the reputation of the commenter. (See SezWho FAQ). The tool basically asks if the comment was helpful to you and allows readers to sort comments by their usefulness, good comments (3+) and great comments (4+).  You can see it in read more...
