Well Known MOMocrat and Entrepreneur to Help Build Out Account Services

Julie Pippert WIDEZoetica, LLC, announced that Julie Pippert will be joining the growing agency on January 1, 2011. Pippert has already been working with the team as a consultant on several accounts, including the award-winning Red Cross event in the summer of 2010 (link to our blog post). Pippert will serve as the agency’s Director of Accounts and will work with President Kami Huyse to provide account services to the firm’s many clients.

Julie Pippert specializes in communication development, especially for technical, health care, parenting, political, nonprofit and advocacy groups. As a managing editor for a healthcare publisher HCPro, Julie released some of the top selling books.

“Being able to work with the dream team that Zoetica offers is an incredible opportunity. I’m thrilled to join Zoetica, and look forward to supporting their current and future clients—they truly have top-tier accounts. Each one is an amazing chance to apply creativity and skill towards goals and strategy that add good,” said Pippert.

Over the past five years, Julie has emerged as a leader in digital media outreach and online communication strategy. She’s spoken at major national conferences and events about the macro-impact of social media and how to use it as an effective tool, particularly for causes. Julie sits on the American Cancer Society’s Blogger Advisory Council, and she helped launch the new Choose You campaign as co-founder and managing editor of the Choose You blog.

She has managed the Blue Star Museums program for Blue Star Families, a support organization for military families, in conjunction with the National Endowment for the Arts. Julie recently was a contributing author to the spectacular celebration of women’s work, Kirtsy Takes a Bow. She has been published in the Houston Chronicle, The Guardian, and Chicago Sun Times, among others. She was named one of “The Stir’s” 30 Political Mom Bloggers Who Will Change Your Vote, has consulted with national and local political campaigns, is an editor at TheMotherhood.com, has a monthly parenting column for “Savvy Source,” and is a contributor to MOMocrats.

“Zoetica is very lucky to have Julie join our team. Her background in both nonprofit and for profit work, as well as her considerable skills will be an asset to the company and our clients,” said Beth Kanter, CEO of Zoetica.

Along with (http://www.bethkanter.org) Beth Kanter (http://www.kamihuyse.com) Kami Huyse and (http://geofflivingston.com) Geoff Livingston, Pippert will serve Zoetica’s clients with her considerable experience and knowledge in the field of digital communication.
