The Social Media Breakfast Houston is a grass-roots organization of professionals in the greater Houston area who meet monthly, on the second Friday at 8:30am, to discuss social media and its application to business. Currently we are meeting online. You can find more information about upcoming events on our Facebook Page.

From its first meeting in May 2009, where about 25 people attended, to its nearly 100 attendees today. It has grown as a truly collaborative community effort. It is part of a larger movement of similar social media breakfasts, which can now be found in 40 cities around the world.

We have learned a lot by livesteaming our montly event, including what gear makes the most sense to use. We have been hosting the monthly Social Media Breakfast of Houston for eight years. We are still learning every day about what equipment we need to best produce our live events.
