I hadn't seen this video from TED 2006 about the death of creativity in the modern understanding of education. I think that Sir Ken Robinson, a former professor and creativity expert, makes some salient points about how we squash creativity in our educational system. I still think it is critical that students learn how to express themselves clearly in writing, especially in this age of self publishing.
