Kami shows you three successful online strategies

Boosting your online authority helps you create a strong foundation of trust and influence in your field. In a recent livestream, Zoetica Media founder Kami Huyse shares the three tried-and-true strategies to elevate your authority and supercharge your business to new heights!

1. Discover the Authority Content Plan
2. Master the Community Connect Map
3. Unlock the Authority Accelerator Method

Successfully implementing these strategies play an important role in whether or not your business thrives in today’s highly competitive business environment.

Start by creating the right foundation and setting aside dedicated time.

“A lot of times we don't do our visibility work because we don't have a plan,” says Kami. Stressing fundamentals, she notes that “it starts with the groundwork, which is really around picking your day that you're going to do your promo work.”

Pick a preferred visibility platform and your outposts.

Pick the visibility platform you’re most comfortable with and that you believe will get you the right  attention. “Are you going to do blog posts, are you going to do short form videos that you release on a weekly basis?” Kami asks. “Especially if you're a consultant or a coach, …mak[e] sure that you are on something once a week where you're visible to the public.”

Next, choose your outposts, namely your primary and secondary social media platforms. “These are very very important to pick. So definitely choose where you are going to have these platforms…. So, for example, I'm on LinkedIn a lot, I'm doing this live stream on LinkedIn and I also have this going to YouTube…. keeping it simple at first is really important.”

Choose the overarching theme for your Authority Content Plan and the categories that fall within that theme.

The theme you choose is what you will talk the most about on your company’s chosen social media and platforms. Make sure it leads back to your expertise and services.

In the free workshop, “we're going to be talking about the categories under that theme,” Kami explains. “This is critically important to your content creation. You have to have these categories in place in order to quickly make content that is strategic to your business.”

Brainstorm content headlines.

Once you’ve chosen your categories, you “then quickly brainstorm five headlines. Additionally, you could also use AI to do this, to help you out,” she suggests. “I usually ask AI those questions. And by the way I like Bard for that because Bard is using Google search data. So I often will ask it, ‘what are the five things people most ask about any topic?’

Connect with the right people through your Community Asset Plan.

In your Community Asset Plan, “we would list out the people that we want to be connecting with in social media,” Kami says. To start with, “list twenty people…like current and past clients, people who refer you to others.” These are people who are current or past champions of you and your work, or who have referred you to others.”

Turbocharge things with the 2×2 authority accelerator.

While Kami goes into this in depth in her Get Instant Authority Workshop, the concept is deceptively simple: You make two posts or comments a day and connect with two new people.

“You share content, yours or somebody else's, and make it engaging….the other thing is leaving comments on other people's content.” By commenting on other people’s content, “it makes you kind of special to the people that you are interacting with.”

Kami has had such positive outcomes with the 2×2 approach that she considers it magical. “If you do the 2×2 on a regular basis, it's incredible how many people you can meet, how many leads that you can drive without even trying, where people just remember you, remember what you do, and reach out to you and say, ‘hey, um, you know, I was thinking about you because, you know, I needed somebody to help me.

Take time out for you and your business.

It’s important to recognize that we need to invest in ourselves as well. “We tend to do all this, these things, for others, and then we don't do it for ourselves, and then we feel guilty,” she points out.

If you’re ready to take your visibility to a brand new level, join Kami this week for the free Get Instant Authority Workshop offered on September 13 and 15 where she will personally guide you in creating these assets for YOUR business.
